Fitness in the workplace boosts earnings

Our partners at PHIT want you to get up and move around at work. Bottom line, (no pun intended), it’s for your own good…physically and financially. The John Brooks Company in Mississauga, Ontario has implemented employee fitness breaks as part of the work day. At 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM workers are encouraged to take a walk, or jog, do calisthenics, whatever they’d like to get the heart pumping. Studies have shown that this type of workplace activity raises weekly earnings nearly 7 percent for men and 12 percent for women.
