It’s so cold…no excuses!

Yes, much of the hemisphere is experiencing bitter cold and snow right now, making outdoor activity unpleasant and even precarious. So those New Year resolutions to stay fit are going by the wayside, right? I mean, we can’t go outside! There’s plenty you can do to get or stay active without opening your front door, (even if the snow drift would allow it). Here is a list we’ve put together. How many can you do today?

  • Walk the stairs. (Set a goal for number of round trips and then each day add one)
  • Pushups
  • Situps/Crunches
  • Chinups
  • Ride a stationary bike
  • Lunges
  • Squats (Do 20 every time you brush your teeth)
  • Yoga
  • Follow an online fitness workout you find on YouTube
