Walk-off win for the coaches

If you haven’t seen the end of yesterday’s elimination game between Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, you missed an exciting walk-off two run double to end the game. But what we liked best was the way the Venezuelan coaches rushed to the field to comfort the Dominican pitcher who was sobbing on the field. Great stuff reminding us what youth sports should be about. (Courtesy of The Big Lead.com and Kyle Koster).

So Close…Again!

Yesterday we told you about one of our Little League clients from Peachtree City, GA which came within one game of making it out of the incredibly competitive Southeast Region to the Little League World Series. Well, in the Southwest Region, it happened to another of our clients! McAllister Park Little League from San Antonio lost a 2-1 heartbreaker in the championship game and also fell one short of the LLWS. Both of these teams had a tremendous run to get as far as they did and will remember the experience for the rest of their lives. Thank you to all the volunteers who made it happen for the kids and congratulations!

So close!

Our client, Peachtree City (GA) Little League has a lot to be proud of. They won the incredibly competitive Georgia Little League State Championship and got to the championship game of the Southeast Region, one game away from the Little League World Series, before falling to the champions from North Carolina in a nail-biter. Great job and congratulations to the boys from Peachtree!
