You may not be a Dodgers or an Astros fan. You may not even be a fan of baseball. But Game 7’s in the World Series don’t come around often and if you’re a fan of sports not much can match it for intensity and energy. Enjoy saying goodbye to the baseball season in the most glorious way tonight!

You might think this is the beginning of a negative post about Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig. But he continues to do good things in the community. A couple weeks ago we told you about how he dropped in on a youth league practice and signed autographs. Yesterday, he invited 50 kids from the neighborhood to Dodger Stadium for a pick-up game. Keep it up, Yasiel.

As you know, last night the Cardinals defeated the Pirates in the Division series for the right to play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. Here is a moment shared between pitcher Adam Wainwright and catcher Yadier Molina that proves that even pro athletes have feelings. And, on the other side of the spectrum, pity the poor Pittsburgh sportscaster who tried to do a live report with the news of his team’s elimination from postseason play with dozens of rowdy Cardinals fans behind him.

Los Angeles Dodgers rookie sensation Yasiel Puig arrived late for Tuesday’s game against the Marlins and was subsequently fined an undisclosed amount by manager, Don Mattingly. Puig, staying with family in Miami, said he was caught in traffic. Yesterday he made sure everyone knew he was on time.
